"Wandering" EXHIBITION | Valparaiso Cultural Park

The exhibition consists of a record of street scenes captured by wandering between urban spaces and their inhabitants in constant movement. Captured using oil and acrylic inks on linen on a stretcher, the street scenes disintegrate into small black and white fragments.

This exhibition will open on Saturday, December 16 at 12:00 p.m., in the Laboratory Room of the Valparaíso Cultural Park – Ex Cárcel. You can visit it from Tuesday to Sunday until January 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Your entry is free. (link note)

"For painting lovers from the 7th to the 29th of this month the national artist will be exhibiting María Luisa Ruiz Tagle with his individual work Wander.” Is about 70 paintings in black and white and of different formats that They are worked with an interesting technique where the oils repel the acrylic inks . The paintings are inspired by passers-by from different cities around the world that the artist captured with a photographic lens.

Drops, droplets and stains make up beings that stop or walk through the city without being aware that they are captured and captured on the linen. The exhibition is curated by the national fine arts award, Eugenio Dittborn ." (Radio Concert Note)
